Russell Bartlett

Lead Pastor

Russell and his wife Angela share deep roots in Newfoundland and Labrador where they were both born and raised. They have three children.
Russell pastored with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador for 23 years and before coming to Heartland pastored a church in the downtown core of Hamilton, ON.

Kevin Parks

Associate
Pastor

Kevin is married to Leanne, they have four adult children and seven grandchildren. He has pastored in various places as a youth pastor in southern Ontario, lead pastored in Bolton for 15 years, and recently served as the pastoral care pastor in Sudbury.

Kevin graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough. He loves to spend time with his children and grandchildren who all live in southern Ontario.

Niclas Idestrom

Creative Arts & IT Pastor

Niclas was born in Sweden, grew up in Kingston, Ontario, and now lives in Mississauga. He met his wife Tina on his fifth Missions trip. His daughter Annika lives at home and is pursuing Business. Niclas enjoys encouraging others to grow and use their gifts for the Lord. In his spare time, he enjoys songwriting, travel, golf, and celebrating Swedish Cultural traditions with family.

Leanne Parks

First Impressions & Community Engagement Director

Leanne is married to Kevin and they have 4 adult children and 7 grandchildren. She has worked alongside Kevin in ministry since 1984. Most recently she was on staff in Sudbury for 7 years overseeing their Connections Ministry.

One of Leanne’s greatest joys is to see new people walk in the doors of the church and feel welcomed and at home. When this happens, it gives people the opportunity to grow in their faith, and to find community and support. To recharge and relax Leanne loves to first, spend time with her husband, kids and grandkids, and then, when possible, she enjoys going somewhere warm with palm trees.

Mark Manalo

Heartland Youth and Young Adults Pastor

Mark was born and raised in Mississauga. He received his Bachelor of Arts Honours Arts Degree in Drama and Bachelor of Education Degree at York University and currently continuing his education in bible college at Masters College and Seminary. He has a passion for youth and young adults, evangelism and outreach and seeing young people experience a personal encounter of God’s presence transformed by the Word of God and Holy Spirit. Mark is excited to cultivate an environment where youth and young adults both meet with God and meet with one another in community.  Mark is also a teacher, basketball coach, drama director/choreographer, hip hop coach, and loyal Raptors/Blue Jays fan and loves food from all over the world.

John Sully

Business
Administrator

John is married to Nancy and they have three adult children and two grandchildren. John is a CPA with over 35 years experience. His focus is primarily family run entrepreneurial businesses, personal tax and consulting with non-profit and charitable organizations. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Open Door, the DAM and Trust 15 Community Support Organization. In his spare time he loves to spend time with his family, hanging out with his grandchildren and his dog Sadie and granddog Denny.

Hetti Perera

Facilities
Coordinator

Hetti, a graduate of Ryerson in architecture, is jack of all trades. He brings a variety of different skill sets as it related to construction projects and building maintenance. He now brings that experience with him to the Heartland team. If you see a facility related need or opportunity, he’s your guy! Hetti is married to Anne and they have two children.
