At Heartland, we want to be connected to each other. We’d challenge you to join a small group. We know that small groups allow us to grow personally and enable us to develop more meaningful relationships with others.

Our Small Groups operate in cycles.
Here are the weeks for our upcoming Small Groups Winter Cycle.
• February 3, 10, 17, 24
• March 3, 10, 17, 24

During the Winter Cycle, you can participate in a Small Group
covering one of the following studies:

Francis Chan – Forgotten God

Today’s church admires the gift of the Holy Spirit, but have we neglected to open it? Francis Chan tears away the wrapping paper and ribbons to uncover the source of the believing community’s true power for witness and service. This 7-session study prompts discussion and encourages application.

Deepening Life Together, Romans

The book of Romans was the apostle Paul’s greatest theological work-his magnum opus-written to the church in Rome. During this 7-week study, Pastor Greg Sidders will take you step-by-step through the truth of the Gospel as it relates to the topics of condemnation, justification, and sanctification.

Week by week, you will see truths revealed through the pages of Scripture. In the climax and resolution to the study, you will discover how, having been freed from bondage to sin, the Law, and death, we are to live new lives through the power of the Spirit. This study is a journey of discovery as God reveals his purposes for our lives.

Timothy Keller, Prodigal God

The Prodigal God 6-session study will challenge the devout and the skeptic alike to see Christianity in a whole new way. Taking you and your small group beyond the traditional focus on the wayward younger son, Tim Keller helps you glean insights from each of the characters in Jesus’ parable: the irreligious younger son, the moralistic elder son, and the Father who lavishes his love on both.

Together for Good, Family Life

To help couples stay together for good, growing in love over a lifetime. It’s what we want when we choose to be married. This workshop outlines the great good that marriage is designed to be and then addresses honestly the two great challenges to staying together for good – differences and drift. The workshop provides insights and research to help couples understand more fully what is really going on in our marriage relationships, focusing on the areas of communication, conflict, sex and spirituality.

Craig Groeschel, Fight: Winning the Battles that Matter Most

Special Focus Study: Men’s Ministry

Discover who you really are—a man created in the image of God, with a warrior’s heart! Exploring biblical examples, including Samson, Groeschel helps you defeat the demons that make strong men weak; arm yourself with faith, prayer, and the Word of God; and win the battles that matter most to your heart, marriage, and family.
