Fraz Mirza
Lead Pastor

Pastor Fraz was born and raised just outside of Montreal Quebec and became a follower of Christ at the age of 18. He has since completed his Bachelors and Masters of theology and is currently working on his doctorate. He is married to Kathryn and together they have 4 children, Evelyn, Judah, Faith and Hope. When he’s not pastoring or leading a project, you can find him spending quality time with the family, working on various projects around the house or discovering great new places to eat around the GTA.

Kevin Parks
Associate Pastor

Kevin is married to Leanne, they have four adult children and six grandkids. Kevin has pastored in various places as a youth pastor in southern Ontario, lead pastored in Bolton for 15 years, and recently served as the pastoral care pastor in Sudbury. Kevin graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough. He loves to spend time with his children and grandchildren who all live in southern Ontario.

Hiba Majeed
Church Administrator & Assistant to Lead Pastor


Hiba is married to Dhiyaa and she has one daughter Mirna. Hiba has studied Business Administration in Canada and she has a Certificate in ministry from Arab Baptist Theological Seminary. She has a passion to see more people coming close to God, and she is dedicated to serve God. Hiba enjoys singing, listening to music and reading books. Outside of work Hiba loves spending time with Family, hanging out with her daughter, and nature.

Katie Guiste
Childrens Ministry Director

Katie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ryerson University and has continued her education in the area of Child and Youth Care. She is passionate about building caring connections with children and families as well as creating environments and programs where every child feels like they are valued and welcomed. Katie grew up attending Heartland’s KidCo program and is always seeking out new, fun ways to help children connect with God and grow in their faith. In her spare time, she loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Mark was born and raised in Mississauga. He received his Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree and Bachelor of Education Degree from York University and is currently continuing his education at Masters College and Seminary. He has been passion for young adults ministry and is exited to cultivate an environment where young adults can both meet with God and with each other.

Nigel Guiste

Director of Worship and Creative Arts

Nigel is married to Maribel and is the proud father of 4 amazing children. He grew up in Mississauga and has trained at Tyndale University and Robert’s Wesleyan College. Nigel has been leading in worship ministry as a Worship Director and volunteer for 15 years. He cherishes time with his family and enjoys songwriting, basketball with his boys, nature and the outdoors.

O’Shaye McDonald
Youth Pastor

O’Shaye has grown up around the GTA as far east as Scarbrough and as far west as Mississauga. He is married to his wife Nicole for 4 years. He is Currently working on his ROM (Recognition of Ministry) at Master’s Collage and Seminary. He has a strong desire and passion to see young people come closer to God, as well as seeing lost people become found! If he is not pastoring or working you can find playing basketball at local gyms or reading/watching anime or manga.

Leanne Parks
First Impressions & Community Engagement Director

Leanne is married to Kevin and they have 4 adult children and 7 grandchildren. She has worked alongside Kevin in ministry since 1984. Most recently she was on staff in Sudbury for 7 years overseeing their Connections Ministry.

One of Leanne’s greatest joys is to see new people walk in the doors of the church and feel welcomed and at home. When this happens, it gives people the opportunity to grow in their faith, and to find community and support.

To recharge and relax Leanne loves to first, spend time with her husband, kids and grandkids, and then, when possible, she enjoys going somewhere warm with palm trees.

John Sully
Business Administrator

John is married to Nancy and they have three adult children and two grandchildren. John is a CPA with over 35 years experience. His focus is primarily family run entrepreneurial businesses, personal tax and consulting with non-profit and charitable organizations. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Open Door, the DAM and Trust 15 Community Support Organization. In his spare time he loves to spend time with his family, hanging out with his grandchildren and his dog Sadie and granddog Denny.

Hetti, a graduate of Ryerson in architecture, is jack of all trades. He brings a variety of different skill sets as it related to construction projects and building maintenance. He now brings that experience with him to the Heartland team. If you see a facility related need or opportunity, he’s your guy! Hetti is married to Anne and they have two children.

Niclas Idestrom
IT Ministry Director

Niclas was born in Sweden, grew up in Kingston, Ontario, and now lives in Mississauga. He met his wife Tina on his fifth Missions trip. His daughter Annika is a Guelph University student. Niclas graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor degree in Computer Science. He also studied theology at Horizon College in Saskatchewan and music at Providence College in Manitoba. Niclas enjoys problem solving and working with people. In his spare time he enjoys travel, golf and celebrating Swedish cultural traditions with family.
