Night of Prayer and Fasting

This is an exciting time for our church-family, as we continue to establish a presence on our property at 1100 Canadian Place and approach the finish line of construction. As always, Christ is at the centre of everything that we do.

Thank you for praying with us toward the following goals:

1. Fuelled by Vision

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand  slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

• …that this facility would enable us to serve our community in new and exciting ways
• …that God would continue to guide and direct our ministry initiatives to maximize the opportunities this new property affords us
• …that greater numbers of people would be impacted by Christ through the ministry of Heartland, a Church Connected
• …that we would continue to guard the unity of our Church as we work toward these goals together
• …that God would guide us and make our ministry and mission effective during a time of pandemic

2. ­­­­­­­­Surrounding Neighbourhoods

“…and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:47)

• …that God would grant us favour with the families living in the neighbourhoods around our new facility
• …that we would be perceptive to the needs of our community and find creative and life-giving ways to meet them, especially during a time of physical distancing
• …that God would bring health, healing, and safety from COVID-19
• …that our new building would be known as a safe place for anyone who has searching questions about God
• …that we would never lose sight of the people who will be served as a result of our expanded facility
• …that our investment would reflect our church members’ heartfelt connection to the neighbourhood

3. Capital Campaign

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

• …thank God for his provision to date and may He continue to provide the resources needed to fund this project
• …that our church-family would continue to embrace the vision and goals of this capital project in a personal way

4. Leadership
